Piranha USV overview

The Piranha USV is an unmanned surface vessel developed by Israeli defense companies for naval attack and maritime security missions. The compact, high-speed vessel is designed for anti-surface warfare, featuring the ability to carry various weapon systems including missiles, torpedoes, and mines. The Piranha can operate autonomously or via remote control, providing naval forces with an expendable platform for engaging enemy vessels without risking manned warships.

The Piranha represents a growing trend toward small, armed unmanned surface vessels that can swarm and overwhelm enemy naval defenses. The vessel's small radar cross-section and high speed make it difficult to detect and engage, particularly when operating in groups.
