ANKA III overview
ANKA III is a jet-powered, tailless Turkish UCAV for reduced-observable strike, ISR, relay, and collaborative missions. Its tailless design and internal or external precision-munition options distinguish it from conventional propeller-driven tactical UAVs.
TUSAŞ claims the listed 7.9-m length, 12.5-m span, Mach 0.7 speed, 10-hour endurance, 40,000-ft ceiling, 1,200-kg payload, and 6,500-kg MTOW. Range is not public, and these are manufacturer claims rather than independently verified operational figures.
Its autonomous first flight occurred in 2023. The Turkish Air Force is a planned recipient, but no in-service operator is publicly confirmed, so developmental comparisons should not imply deployed combat service. For comparison, publicly documented roles and procurement or testing evidence are more reliable than unsupported inference from incomplete specifications, and they should not be treated as confirmation of unreported characteristics.
