The Mayhem 10 is a Ukrainian-developed fixed-wing strike drone designed for precision long-range attack against high-value infrastructure, logistics, and military-industrial targets deep in Russian territory, developed by a Ukrainian private-sector consortium operating under the Brave1 framework. Emerging from the same entrepreneurial defense culture that produced the MAGURA V5 naval drone and the Liutyi MALE drone, the Mayhem 10 represents Ukraine's answer to a strategic problem: how to hold Russian military-industrial infrastructure at risk without F-16 or Storm Shadow delivery platforms that are politically constrained from conducting strikes inside Russia. The platform takes its name from the operational doctrine it embodies — concentrated, unpredictable disruption applied faster than the adversary can adapt its defenses. With a maximum range assessed at over 1,000 kilometers, the Mayhem 10 is large enough to carry a 10 kg focused-fragmentation warhead effective against exposed personnel, radar arrays, fuel storage, and light vehicle parks, while remaining small enough (wingspan approximately 2.8 meters, weight under 35 kg) to be launched from a vehicle-mounted pneumatic rail by a two-person team without dedicated infrastructure. Its electric propulsion and composite construction give it a minimal acoustic and radar signature, making detection by Russian air defense systems operating at their normal scan intervals difficult, particularly at low altitude.
The Mayhem 10's guidance system reflects the electronic warfare environment of 2024–2025 Ukraine: GPS-primary navigation is augmented by an inertial measurement unit and optical scene-matching terminal guidance that allows the drone to identify and engage targets using pre-loaded imagery even when GPS signals are fully jammed. This is a critical capability — Russian EW systems can deny GPS across large areas of the approach corridor, and earlier Ukrainian strike drones suffered significant miss distances or mission aborts due to GPS denial. The scene-matching system was developed in cooperation with a Western software partner (believed to be a UK or Canadian firm operating under ITAR-equivalent restrictions), and its integration gives the Mayhem 10 a circular error probable assessed at under 3 meters in operational use. Operationally, the Mayhem 10 is typically employed in salvos of three to six vehicles targeting a single objective complex, with spacing timed to arrive at the target simultaneously from different directions — complicating point-defense radar tracking and ensuring at least partial mission success even if one or two vehicles are intercepted.
By 2025–2026, the Mayhem 10 has conducted dozens of documented strikes against Russian targets including fuel depots, ammunition storage areas, radar installations, and military vehicle concentrations in occupied Ukrainian territory and within Russia proper. A notable 2025 strike series targeted radar installations along the Russian air defense belt in Kursk Oblast, temporarily opening corridors subsequently exploited by Ukrainian manned aircraft. Ukraine has been deliberately restrained in public attribution of Mayhem 10 attacks, preferring strategic ambiguity that prevents Russia from concentrating specific countermeasures, but Western open-source intelligence analysts have identified distinctive damage patterns consistent with Mayhem 10 warheads at seventeen confirmed strike sites. As of early 2026, production is expanding with quarterly output reportedly approaching 200 units, and Ukraine is evaluating a Mayhem 15 variant with an enlarged 15 kg warhead and extended 1,200 km range targeting Russian military-industrial facilities in the Urals.
