Alexa Spatium overview

Alexa Spatium is a Ukrainian jet-powered interceptor accepted into the Defence Forces' arsenal in August 2026. The aircraft launches from a mobile catapult and is intended to be prepared within minutes, allowing air-defense units to shift between threatened areas without fixed infrastructure. Ukraine's Ministry of Defence highlighted high speed, a high operating ceiling, agile maneuverability, close airspace monitoring, and precise target engagement.

The system represents Ukraine's effort to replace expensive surface-to-air missiles with purpose-built airborne interceptors for at least part of the Shahed and reconnaissance-drone threat. Public descriptions also suggest an ability to address small aerial and ground targets, although the exact engagement mechanism has not been disclosed.

The manufacturer, dimensions, speed, range, endurance, payload, and production quantity remain protected for wartime security, so the profile records only information released by Ukraine's Ministry of Defence.
