KUB-10ME overview

KUB-10ME is a Russian tactical loitering munition developed by Kalashnikov Concern. Announced in February 2026, the system extends the KUB family to more than 100 km and uses electro-optical guidance to prosecute moving as well as fixed targets. Kalashnikov also claims improvements in resistance to electronic warfare and air defenses, reflecting operational lessons from Ukraine.

The aircraft was publicly displayed in May 2026 and reported by Janes in August as nearing frontline appearance. Its combination of range, moving-target guidance, and a compact launch concept places it between shorter-range tactical loitering munitions and larger deep-strike one-way aircraft.

The manufacturer has not published dimensions, speed, endurance, ceiling, launch weight, or warhead mass, so those fields remain undisclosed until a technical brochure or independently verified wreckage analysis becomes available. Its advertised moving-target capability would be a meaningful change from the simpler preplanned attack profile associated with many expendable systems.
