Ruta overview

Ruta Block 1 is Destinus's long-range precision-strike drone or missile-family baseline. It is designed for low-level terrain-following flight and GNSS-denied navigation, distinguishing its mission from a conventional tactical ISR UAV.

Only an over-300-km range and 150-kg payload are published for Block 1, both reported through manufacturer or industry material. Dimensions, speed, endurance, ceiling, and weight are undisclosed, and later Block 2 or 3 figures do not apply.

Ukraine announced testing in December 2024, according to reporting. Destinus says Block 1 entered serial production in the Netherlands, while Ukraine is the documented user; testing and serial production do not independently prove broad operational fielding. For comparison, publicly documented roles and procurement or testing evidence are more reliable than unsupported inference from incomplete specifications, and they should not be treated as confirmation of unreported characteristics.
