Shahed-131
Long-Range Strike

Shahed-131 overview
Shahed-131 is an expendable delta-wing one-way attack UAV with an integral explosive warhead. In Russian service it is also associated with the Geran-1 name, distinguishing it from reusable strike aircraft.
Reported figures give a 2.6-m length, 2.2-m span, 180-km/h speed, 700–1,000-km range, 10–20-kg payload, and 135-kg weight. Height, endurance, and ceiling are not publicly disclosed, and these figures are not independently settled.
CSIS lists Iran and Russia as possessors. Reporting documents Shahed-131 use from 2019 and extensive Russian employment in Ukraine, making it relevant to comparisons of massed one-way attack systems. Its documented Russian employment is stronger evidence than treating every reported airframe figure as independently verified performance. For comparison, publicly documented roles and procurement or testing evidence are more reliable than unsupported inference from incomplete specifications, and they should not be treated as confirmation of unreported characteristics.
