Saab A3 is the designation commonly associated with the full-scale uncrewed collaborative combat-aircraft concept Saab displayed in August 2026. The tailless, low-observable form explores how a future autonomous aircraft could team with Gripen fighters for sensing, weapons carriage, electronic warfare, and high-risk missions without placing another pilot in the threat envelope.

Saab described a potential service timeframe in the middle of the 2030s if Sweden or another customer funds full development. That caveat is important: A3 is a concept and full-scale demonstrator, not an operational drone or contracted production aircraft.
