DropShip overview

DropShip is Pyka's autonomous heavy-lift fixed-wing aircraft for carrying supplies into dangerous, remote, or infrastructure-poor locations. Announced in October 2025, it adapts Pyka's commercial autonomous-aircraft experience to defense logistics, medical support, and distributed operations. Published dimensions include a 7.3 m length, 11.5 m wingspan, 2.1 m height, 635 kg maximum takeoff weight, and 6,096 m service ceiling.

The cargo area can accept supplies and mission equipment for routes where sending a crewed helicopter or truck convoy would create excessive risk. At the U.S. Army's Project Convergence Capstone 6 in July 2026, DropShip flew repeated autonomous missions carrying food, medical equipment, and other supplies.

That exercise provided a stronger operational demonstration than a static product launch, although final military payload and range figures remain mission and configuration dependent. DropShip's main contribution is logistical: it can move routine loads without exposing a pilot or requiring a runway at the receiving position.
